The abstract shapes used in the work borrow from the visual elements of political decision-making. The larger laser-cut shapes are based on the ballot paper used in the Finnish elections and the graphics of the voting instructions. In smaller parts, the texts JAA, EI, TYHJI\u00c4, POISSA - words that appear in the voting system of the Finnish parliament plenary session. In the work you will also find the president's gavel.
The abstract color composition spreading across the space can be seen as a metaphor for the ideal of democracy. At its best, democracy is an all-inclusive people's power system, where different views of the world find their place in joint decision-making. Making politics and democracy includes the idea of \u200b\u200bchanging the world - ideally, I see a multi-voiced system where different wishes and utopias merge into a force that builds the world of the future.\u00a0\u00a0
